Funding
Pets Canada receives limited funding from AAFC to help reduce exhibitor expenses and provide financial support to companies participating in the Canada Pavilion. To be eligible, companies must showcase pet food and/or pet treat SKUs within the pavilion. Funding is available for one representative per qualified company and includes 50% reimbursement on the following expenses:
Airfare
- 50% reimbursement of basic economy airfare, up to $1,250 per flight. (While the program allows an airfare value of up to $2,500, the reimbursement is capped at 50%, resulting in the $1,250 limit. Your claim may exceed $2,500 however the reimbursement amount will be limited to $1,250.)
- If you choose to fly in a higher class, you must submit your actual receipt plus a comparable economy‑fare quote for the same flight to validate claim.
Per Diem
- 50% per diem, up to $575 per exhibition day + 2 travel days.
Mandatory Exhibitor Participation Post-Show Report
Please note that every participating exhibitor in the Canada Pavilion and who qualifies for the AgriMarketing funding, MUST submit a full report including airfare receipts within 30 days of their return to Canada.
