Job Summary                       

Reporting to the VP Sales & Marketing, the Nutram Quebec Sales Representative is responsible for providing exclusive representation of the Nutram brand in the assigned territory of Quebec.  This role drives retail growth and execution, while supporting promotional execution to ensure consistent and effective market coverage.

Responsibilities

•        Secure new business within existing retail accounts and acquire new retail stores. 

•        Act as primary representative of the Nutram brand in-market, ensuring strong retail presence and consumer pull-through.

•        Support Distributor Lead with appointed distributor(s), supporting alignment on strategy, priorities, and execution.

•        Attend store events including training seminars, community events, consumer shows and industry trade shows, as required, to promote the Nutram brand.

•        Acting Account Manager for all Pet Specialty Chains within assigned territory.   

•        Regularly calling on and work closely with current retailers to ensure maximum distribution, shelf presence, and promotional effectiveness.

•        Develop and execute a territory plan to identify growth opportunities and prioritize account development.

•        Act as the voice of the customer, representing retailer and distributor insights internally.

•        Provide accurate sales forecasting and market feedback to support business planning.

•        Support Marketing team in the execution of campaigns, initiates, and in-store programs.

•        Other duties as required.

Position Requirements

•        Degree in Marketing, Sales, Business or related field.

•        Bilingual in English and French required.

•        3 to 5 years experience in Sales and Marketing, preferably in the pet food industry.

•        Strong understanding of customer and market dynamics (retailer and distributor) and requirements.

•        Excellent oral and written communication skills.

•        Strong problem solving and analytical skills to interpret sales performance and market trend information.

•        Ability to take direction and work effectively in a remote and independent environment with minimal supervision.

•        Willingness to travel and work on a global team.

•        Excellent project management skills.

•        Solid negotiation skills.
